Today's students are faced by many obstacles that limit their ability to achieve their full potential. It is our belief at Symmes Valley High School that by providing a comprehensive counseling department, we assist students in removing as manay obstacles as possible to help them obtain their greatest potential.

Counselor Services
Services offered by the Symmes Valley High School Counselor:

Provide direct counseling services to students individually and in support groups.

Provide education and support to parents.

Provide information on college admittance and requirements.

Educate students and parents on graduation requirements.

Meet regulary with at-risk population.

Develop and deliver classroom guidance lessons.

Schedule college visits for students.

Facilitate referrals to community support services.

Advise students on academic planning.
